Benefits of access control systems.
- Flexible access – limit access to certain areas or at different times
- No physical keys – better security as no risk of lost or stolen keys
- Quick to activate and deactivate – grant or block access instantly
- Manage lost tokens easily – tokens can be deactivated with no impact on the rest of the system

How do access control systems work?
The access control system works by automatically locking a door when it is closed. It can only be opened by an authorised person using a PIN keypad or token. Other cutting-edge ways of unlocking the door included biometric readers and facial recognition.
Access control offers flexibility over your users’ access rights as they can be used on internal doors, limiting access to specific restricted areas such as rooms with medical equipment or sensitive client data
